The Need of Comparison between Traditional Software Development Process Models

Due to the rapid changes in business processes which require intelligence and to fulfill the needs of their customers, the role of services rendered by information technology is revolutionized.

This proposed research work is to be carried out by conducting survey from various software development organizations and IT experts to find out the processes involved in software requirements engineering and to find out the optimal solution, acceptable by various types of businesses in nature and to satisfy the customers.

The main objective of this research work is to identify the road map which may be able to track that how a software based solution is to be devised, keeping in mind and foresee the application domain as well as solution domain. During this process traditional process models are discussed. How they correlate, their pros and cons are discussed to identify a suitable solution for a specific type of problem.
